About Work with Nature

What is Work with Nature week?
Work with Nature is a week in March when we will encourage Australians to ‘work with nature’ and take 1 hour out of their day to appreciate the outside world and consider our collaborate role in protecting it. 


When is Work with Nature week?
Work with Nature week will be held across Australia from 20 – 26 March, 2017. 


How can I get involved Work with Nature week?
There are lots of ways you can get involved with Work with Nature, the simplest being to register online or make a donation. Find out more about how to get involved with Work with Nature.


What does The Nature Conservancy Australia do with the money raised from Work with Nature week?
Your donation will be helping The Nature Conservancy Australia raise much needed funds to conserve our iconic lands and waters, tackle critical conservation issues right here in Australia, and achieve last results for both people and nature.  Work with Nature week is run by The Nature Conservancy Australia. How can corporates get involved?
There are multiple ways that corporates can support our Work with Nature campaign:

  1. Work in Nature – Staff members can #greendesk and spend 1 hour working in nature during our campaign week at a green space close to your office.  Find out more about how corporates can get involved.
  2. Fundraise – Department or offices can set-up their own fundraising page and help sustain a healthy Australia today and for generations to come.

Donating to Work with Nature week

What if I have entered the incorrect amount for my donation?
All donations are in Australian Dollars.  If you accidently donate an incorrect amount via credit card please contact GoFundraise and they will refund the requested amount to the credit card used to make the original donation.  


How will I know if my donation was successful?
If you’ve provided a valid email address when making an online donation, you will receive a tax receipt via email shortly after you complete your donation.


Is your online fundraising system secure?
GoFundraise take your security very seriously and use the latest technology and best practice processes to ensure their systems and your data are kept safe and secure.  All credit card transactions are made on an encrypted HTTPS server use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) transport mechanism up to 256-bit SSL encryption. They do not store your credit card details on any of their servers, and only use the most secured payment gateways to process your transactions. 


Is my online donation tax deductible?
Yes, all donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible.  Simply fill in all of the requested details when making an online donation (including a valid email address), and you will automatically receive an official tax receipt from The Nature Conservancy Australia. Fundraising solicitation is limited to Australia and this is not intended to be fundraising or fundraising solicitation in any jurisdiction where it would be illegal for us to fundraise.
